Baby Kiefer

Arrival of my baby brother Kiefer

ooohh...time flies... mummy finally gave birth to didi on the 22 Nov ... after so many mths... baby is finally out !!! wonder y mummy kept didi in her stomach for wat

On 21 Nov, we were still celebrating great grandma's BD wor ... n on 22 Nov - 1am++ mummy's waterbag leak liao .... n she's only in her 37wks ...didi can't wait to come out n c dis beautiful world :P

Waterbag leak is wat mummy has been hoping for ... cos to her, it's not painful and thus still got time to get ready

Mummy's Birth story as follows:-

1+am >> felt a "pop" and abit of water leakage ... got out of bed n water contd to leak ... no contractions nothing ... wake daddy up and tell him to get ready .... call mum over to our plc to take care of Cipher (cos slping away)

2+am >> mum arrived wi sis n so they take over while me n daddy go to the hospital

rch hosp n was asked to wait in the observation ward ... still no contractions

3+am >> was 5cm dilated n nurse asked daddy to settle the admission stuffs

still only 5-6cm with very mild contractions

waited n waited in the observation ward till 5++am n finally there's a delivery suite available ... tt morn seems to be full of preggies giving birth lor

5 gg to 6am >> wheelchair-ed to the delivery suite ... on the way, more intense contractions kick in ... n the worst is tt the delivery suite is NOT ready yet... cleaning auntie still dng the cleaning up ... sat outside n waited n experiencing the on-off contractions

finally transferred to the bed in the delivery suite while more intense contractions kick in .... too late for epidural so jus hv to rely on the "laughing gas" ... makes me high siahhh .. not much of a help in the beginning

National anthem played on TV ...cringing on the bed wi pain ... according to nurse, within tt 1hr or so, me dilated fr 5-6cm to 8cm den 10cm ... too fast ....

cnt help but keep wanting to push liao lorrr ... but stopped by nurse cos hv to wait for gynae to arrive

breathe in the laughing gas damn hard ... dun reli ease the pain but makes me super high so helps in another way

everythg is happening too fast ... arrival of gynae ... n i can finally push ... after 5-6 pushes, baby Kiefer is finally OUT @ 710am !!
